I was walking around the house today and I asked Madam Layla where the iron was so I could iron my shirt. She guided me to the laundry room and my first thought was, what the f is that? It had to be the biggest iron I have ever seen. See for yourself.

This was the first time I saw a two unit iron obvisouly because in my house in Marietta it’s just a one-unit thing; you plug it in the wall and the water is already within the iron for spray and cooling purposes. For a lot of people that is the case too but I could be wrong.

She said the second unit was for that same purpose. It was a very good iron nevertheless; but also very big. I examined it and ironing part was actually pretty small.

I went halfway around the world and discussed the good and bad about living and teaching in South Korea for one year. But I have reviewed and written nothing about my hometowns: Marietta and Atlanta, Georgia. I grew up in both cities and have lived here most of my life. So now that I am back from Korea and while there fancied returning home, it is only right I introduce you to my cities.

When most people think of Atlanta Georgia, they only remember the Olympic bombing on July 27, 1996 during the Summer Olympics, the first of four committed by Eric Robert Rudolph.[1] Two people died, and 111 were injured. But Atlanta has more to offer than that tragic event.

There is excellent nightlife in Atlanta. With celebrities like Ludacris, TI, Pharrell and countless others showing up in clubs when the sun goes down, Atlanta nightlife is in league with that of New York and San Fransisco.
But unlike New York and San Fransisco, Atlanta is not known for its coffee shops. But that is changing with places like Urban Grind opening up. Located @ 960 Marietta St. NW Atlanta, GA 30318-5590, you will find:

Not only does Urban Grind provide these accommodations, it boasts a relaxing atmosphere with a variety of music that promotes a place to study, relax, hold a meeting or hang out with friends.

While at Urban Grind I ordered a brownie and their ice chai tea. The tea was fantastic; however, the brownie was a bit dry for my liking. I will come back for one of their open mic nights to see what the artists have to offer. The staff is friendly and courteous and I wouldn’t be surprised if more of these coffee shops open up in other areas of Atlanta and through out Georgia.
