I am keeping this list as concise because I want to include only recruiters I or close friends have had contact with. There are a lot of recruiters out there but they are not the same in how they treat and guide teachers who want to live and teach abroad. This top five is a starting point for anyone looking to teach abroad. They have similar requirements so there is no need for me to go into details on that. But if you want to know what some of the requirements are before getting in touch with a recruiter then see this post; Can you teach in Korea? Without further ado.

  1. Korvia Consulting
  2. korvia

Ask for Juno. She is awesome. I personally dealt with Korvia Consulting and Juno is amazing at providing the information you need to know and she guides you through the process. Their website is:

    www.korvia.com

  3. AskNow
  4. asknow

Ask for Jason or Brant, they will help you or assign you to someone who will see everything through with you. Their website is: www.AskNow.ca

  5. Daves ESL Cafe
  6. daves

I had not had direct contact with the staff/recruiter but there is great resources on this site for current teachers and job seekers, but friends have told me that it is great. After spending hours on it and contacting to find out for myself, I have to agree with them. The website is: www.eslcafe.com/

  7. Davidson Recruiting
  8. davidson

I have heard from a lot of friends that this guy is really good at recruiting people. His website is: www.iandrs.com

  9. Footprints Recruiting
  10. footprints

Footprints is one of the largest recruiters but regardless of the many teachers they are getting resumes from, they still make you feel like you are part of the family. Their website is: Footprints Recruiting

I hope this list helps you guys that have been contacting me asking for which recruiters to use. You will be in good hands with the ones on this list. However, I am sure there are other great recruiters out there so if I have left out a recruiter that you think deserves to be on this list, leave a comment please.

Tate:

Thanks so much for the shout-out. I've been doing this for over a decade now and always put the teacher first. This has lost me a lot of business with people wanting to leave quick (so they choose other options) but I know if I send them, it will be a good experience.

Take care and if you ever need anything, let me know.
