Tired souls on morning streets
Loiter on as day breaks-
On these long unlovely road,
Here they are once again,
Shackled minds, consistent souls!

A life suppressed by fatigue,
They stroll in daylight but cannot see,
They know no more than what they are
To claim more than what they see;

Weary souls here and afar.

Wow, after just one week of being here in South Korea and pounding that pavement, I can totally reate to this poem. It's funny, I feel really liberated and adventerous here, but at home (in California) I felt like the people you desribed in your poem. I guess this poem highlights the importance of stepping outside of your comfort zone to experience this world with fresh eyes and develop an acceptance for all people – regardless of ethnicity, size, shape, beliefs,etc.

Keep soul (sole) searching!
