The cryptocurrency market has been even more volatile these days than usual. A lot of up and down movement and if you are with an exchange that has low fees such as Kucoin among others, then you can make some trades and profit without worrying so much about fees.
But like any market, stocks, futures, currencies, and now cryptocurrencies, a lot of novice investors start running away when the market drops. The exact opposite of what they should be doing: buying the dips so that they can sell when the market goes back up. I am looking at two such Cryptos to add to my portfolio soon. I added a little of 2k coins of one already and now waiting for another buying opportunity.
Is MIOTA a good investment?
It is not always easy to know what is a good investment in almost any investment. Unless it’s prime real estate in a wonderful location, there is almost no way to know that you are going to make money on investment on the short term.
There are no guarantees as anything can happen. But that’s also the beauty of it in some ways. The best thing to do is arm yourself with as much knowledge as possible about the investment.
What is MIOTA anyways? Oh, I thought you would never ask! $MIOTA is a smart contract platform redesigning distributed ledger technology. The platform prodices a secure exchange of data and value without any fees. Amazing isn’t it. But they are not the only ones making waves.
IOTA is another one
Ever heard of the term “internet of things” or IoT? And do you see how the name is closer to the crypto? Let’s first explain what IoT means. According to oracle.com,
The Internet of Things (IoT) describes the network of physical objects—“things”—that are embedded with sensors, software, and other technologies for the purpose of connecting and exchanging data with other devices and systems over the internet. These devices range from ordinary household objects to sophisticated industrial tools. With more than 7 billion connected IoT devices today, experts are expecting this number to grow to 10 billion by 2020 and 22 billion by 2025. Oracle has a network of device partners.
You can imaging how much of an impact this will have in our society. That’s where IOTA comes in and that’s why I decided to get 2,000 coins as a start to my investment.
What role does IOTA play and why is it a good investment?
IOTA is a German-based foundation, at one of my favorite cities, Berlin, that aims to bring the Internet of Things into all areas of our lives. IoT affects all areas of business; manufacturing, retail, automotive and so many others and I think IoTa will be at the forefront of that development. So I am keeping an eye on it and buying more as it dips here and there on the way up.
